Color values
Color is an important part of our visual identity - it promotes recognizability and creates brand associations. In order to create the same visual experience digitally, in print and also on fabrics, we use different color values depending on the result. The color palette is available as ASE files that can be opened with Adobe Creative Suite (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
Printed material
When printing applications, two different values can be used; CMYK or Pantone.
CMYK
Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Key (Black) make up the CMYK color palette and are used in digital printing. This is the most common meaning in printed materials.
Pantone
Pantone Matching System® is a versatile color matching system. Pantone codes vary depending on whether the paper is coated or not.
Digital
When using color on screens and in the digital environment, we use RGB/HEX color values.
RGB
Red, Green and Blue make up the RGB color palette and are supported in all browsers. Each parameter (red, green, and blue) defines the intensity of the color as an integer between 0 and 255.
HEX
Hexadecimal (HEX) color is specified with: #RRGGBB and is supported in all browsers.
Environmental
On fabrics, painted surfaces or lacquers and powder coatings, we use the following color values.
Pantone TCX
Pantone TCX (Textiles Cotton Extended range) is used to match colors on fabrics.
NCS
The Natural Color System (NCS) is primarily used on painted surfaces. RAL RAL is a color matching system used primarily for paint and powder coatings.
